Our brand-new Jamison Veterinary Hospital in Macquarie, ACT, opened November 2023 and we are looking for an easy-going vet who will have a laugh and a cuppa along with the rest of our team. We currently have 2 vets and are looking to expand to 4 vets within 12 months, and keep building. The new hospital can support at least 5 full-time vets.

We will provide:

• Brand new, modern hospital with good design for flow of work, integrated record-keeping system, all the equipment you’ll need (including new digital x-ray, scope and ultrasound) and located right next to the Jamison shopping centre.
• Genuine support and case collaboration with daily rounds to build skills and confidence for new and recent grads – we will help you along the way to become an experienced vet!
• Ample time for consultations so you are not rushed and can offer good communication to clients.
• Lovely, well-established nursing/reception team who have worked with us for up to 5 years and are like an extended family. We have regular social activities with the team.
• Caffeine – hot drinks are encouraged!

We are looking for someone with:

• A positive, friendly attitude and a commitment to ‘best practice’ veterinary work.
• Good communication and record keeping skills who can provide great client service.
• Ability to manage their time.
• Interests and passions we can foster and support with professional development.
