Ellerslie Vet Clinic was founded in 2015 to provide outstanding small animal care. Since then, we have grown from a one Vet/Nurse clinic to a team of 5 Vets and 7 registered Nurses. Due to an increase in Vet hours, we have the availability for a part-time Vet Nurse to join our team!

This role will ideally cover a 10-hour shift on a Thursday and 3 hours on a Saturday/

We are looking for a highly motivated Vet Nurse who is keen to be part of a busy and stimulating environment. You will be working in an amazing team with over 100 years’ experience who are true team players and support each other. Our team honours the health and happiness of all pets and people, and it is our firm belief that you cannot put a price on passion and dedication.

Ellerslie Vet Clinic is a well-known and highly respected small animal clinic, and we are spoilt with progressive equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, full dental suite, in house laboratory and a fully equipped surgical suite.

Work-life balance is important to us s our full-time nurses work 4 days per week. There is no afterhours or Sunday work. We have also recently expanded our clinic to four consultations rooms, a dedicated dental suite, and a brand-new tranquillity room.

About you:

• Appropriate Veterinary Nursing qualifications
• A hands-on approach to your work
• An ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of the team
• Exceptional customer service skills
• A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive

Ellerslie Vet Clinic is a cat friendly gold clinic (awarded by the ISFM in 2015), and we offer not only one but two cat only consultations rooms and most of our nurses have been awarded with the Certificate of Feline Nursing by the IFSM.
