What a journey we have had! Established in early 2013 in the beachside suburb of Cronulla, we wouldn’t be lying if we said we have the absolute best clients in all of the Shire. Because of the incredible community support we branched out and established a Gymea location in 2017 and the rest really is history.

Both Southside Animal Hospital locations are operated by well-known and much loved Dr Michael Demertze and his two side-kick-super-star practice managers. Together they lead a team of 20 brilliant team members across two practices and now we have an opportunity for an experienced, high vibe vet nurse to join the Southside crew.

As we continue on our journey, experiencing our 12th year of growth in a row, we are calling in our next brilliant nurse-addition. Is that you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is able to connect with our fur clients and their humans. It is important that you confidently develop rapport quickly with our clients utilising clear communication and a warm friendly nature.
• Has at least one year experience as a fully qualified veterinary nurse, taking pride in the work you produce.
• Is responsible and reliable and genuinely knows what it takes to be an integral part of a team environment.
• Will appreciate us as your employer. We are generous, flexible, easy to work with and ultimately seek to reward those who go above and beyond.
• Completed cert IV vet nursing qualification is essential for this role, however there may be other opportunities for less experienced nurses.
