Mooloolaba Vet Surgery is a busy small animal vet clinic looking for a Vet Nurse to work casual shifts and when required, work fill-in shifts to cover staff holidays. With a view to working expanded hours and shifts in the new year.

This is a dual role position - covering reception and nursing. You will need to be able to operate effectively in a small team, work collaboratively, and communicate well with your colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Either have or be working towards a Cert III in Veterinary Nursing, whether you're just starting or have some experience.
Computer literacy would be advantageous as we use digital programs to manage work assignment.
Excellent attention to detail and work well to deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
The ability to manage a busy appointment schedule & assist with reception administration tasks.
Willing to do manual tasks including in-clinic cleaning.
Have unrestricted rights to work in Australia, and you must have a current Australian driver's license.
