About the Role
This role leads the team that is the voice of Hill’s Pet Nutrition in Australia & New Zealand to both Vets & Pet Parents. This individual is passionate about creating a positive & memorable experience for veterinary professionals & pet parents when they engage with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, whether it’s through voice, email, chat, mail or digital platforms.
This role is passionate about interacting with consumers & building best in class engagement teams.
They are actively involved in developing new ways to improve interaction, streamlining processes, and accelerating our digital strategy. They understand the commercial needs for digital commerce, and can be a key partner in building out those capabilities. They are passionate about pets and the important role science based nutrition can play in helping them to lead long and happy lives.
This Leader is a key part of bringing our brand & science to life with Vets & consumers. They understand their role in aligning to our Brand’s ACPL strategy and engage cross functionally to ensure continuous alignment. They understand the benefit of CRM & how to leverage 1P data to build lifetime loyalty.
As the key external face of Hill’s Pet Nutrition in ANZ, it’s important to have great structure. This individual can establish core engagement principles to ensure that engagement with everyone in the team is a great experience and that the definition of what good looks like is consistent across team members and platforms. This role also monitors consumer complaints as well as monitors quality control and satisfaction to ensure best outcomes for Hill’s customers and their patients/pets. Their engagement strategy is professional, educational & buildable.

The ideal candidate
- Holds Bachelor's Degree
- Experienced in Customer services roles or similar, Pet / Vet industry is preferred but not essential
- High level of comfort with digital technology including Google Analytics and Google suite applications
- Experience working with CRM tools,
- Working knowledge of Social platforms
- Proven track record of being customer-focused & customer engagement strategies
- Strong client facing and communication skills
- Have strong leadership capabilities to develop future leaders in the business
- Agile and has a curious growth mindset
Note - The role is based in our Sydney office and we support hybrid ways of working, meaning the successful applicant will need to be able to regularly attend the Sydney office on a weekly basis.
