About the role

Based within UNE’s Centre for Animal Research & Teaching (CART), as Veterinarian and Animal Welfare Officer you will be required to provide oversight, specialist advice and leadership that ensures industry best practice in the conduct and welfare of all animal related research and teaching activities at the University. The role is responsible for providing veterinary services, technical support, advice, education and the creation of associated policies across the Faculty.

 

Skills & Experience

If you are an enthusiastic, team-oriented veterinarian with a strong drive to deliver the highest standards in animal welfare and research outcomes then we would love to hear from you.  Ideally, you have experience in production animal medicine, research practice, technical education and training. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, and you are passionate about delivering the highest standards of professional behaviour and customer service to support internal and external stakeholders.
