Health Science Hub (RTO 52806) is looking for animal care workers who are interested in starting or continuing their careers in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector.
We can only consider applicants with:
- Two (2) years of relevant industry work experience, and
- A completed Certificate III, IV or Bachelor's degree in an Animal related field.
The role will be training a class of 16-18 year-olds the Certificate III in Animal Care Services ( ACM30122).
We are looking for additional trainers in Bunbury during school terms 1, 2 & 3 for 1 day per week (Wednesday). Additional hours may be available.
An advantage would be that you already hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessing (TAE40116). However, we would be willing to train the right person to attain this qualification over time.
The right candidate will have the following:
- Be comfortable in front of students and display the confidence to explain and deliver the required content.
- Be capable of reviewing and delivering pre-created content.
- Be interested and able to work with 16-18-year-old students.
- Have the ability to use technology in the classroom. This includes a learning management system, tablets, apps, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Work within a team as well as autonomously.
- Manage change and contribute to continuous improvement.
