We have an exciting opportunity at GOTAFE for a passionate and committed Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Nurse to join our Animal Science team as a Trainer and Assessor. The main delivery location of this role will be Wagga Wagga CSU Campus however the successful candidate will also be required to attend and deliver from our Tone Rd Campus in Wangaratta. In this role you will be involved in the delivery of ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care and ACM40418 Certificate IV Vet Nursing qualifications, as well as facilitating and coordinating face-to-face sessions and online learning. This role is perfect for someone seeking work life balance – you will no longer be on call!

Please note, this role is primarily based onsite in the Wagga Wagga region.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or Bachelor of Veterinary Science
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (GOTAFE supports on the job completion)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:

  • A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
  • A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
  • A current Driver’s Licence (Car).

The salary range for this position is L1.1-L3.4 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2018.
