TRAINER AND ASSESSOR VETERINARY TECHNOLOGY

We have an exciting opportunity at GOTAFE for a passionate and committed Veterinarian or Veterinary Nurse to join our Veterinary Technology team as a Trainer and Assessor at the Wangaratta Tone Rd Campus). In this role you will be involved in the delivery of Veterinary Technology qualifications, as well as facilitating and coordinating face-to-face sessions and online learning.

This role is perfect for someone seeking work life balance – you will no longer be on call!

As the successful candidate you will have:

• A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Science.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 with new credential requirements TAEASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE40116. (Education opportunities available for candidates without their teaching qualification)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:

• A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
• A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
• A current Driver’s Licence (Car).

As a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is a condition of employment with GOTAFE, subject to reasonable exemptions, that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide evidence of bookings.

The salary range for this position is L1.1 – L3.4 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2018.
