TRAINER AND ASSESSOR ANIMAL SCIENCES
FULL TIME – FIXED TERM (MARCH 2022 – DEC 2022)
Location: Wangaratta (Tone Rd)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainer and Assessor Animal Sciences to join the team at Tone Rd! This role will be a maternity leave backfill and will support the Animal Sciences team in delivering units across the Veterinary Nursing, Animal Care and Animal Care Services courses. Your dedication to animals and commitment to education students will ensure success in this role.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- A relevant vocational qualification.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 with new credential requirements TAEASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE40116.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research, plan, prepare and schedule course and learning materials.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
- A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
- A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
- A current Driver’s Licence (Car).
As a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is a condition of employment with GOTAFE, subject to reasonable exemptions, that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide evidence of bookings.
The salary range for this position is Level 1-3 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2018.
