The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH), was established in North Ryde, Sydney in 2007 with a second hospital opening on the Central Coast of New South Wales in 2017. We are also excited to announce that we are opening a brand new purpose-built specialist veterinary facility in South Australia in October 2021.  Our core purpose is to help pets and their families live their best life.SASH is the largest veterinary specialist hospital group in the Southern Hemisphere. About the Role:
This is a role that will work closely with the theatre co-ordinator, team leader and NUM to deliver outstanding care to our patients. The theatre attendant will report directly to the theatre co-ordinator for day-to-day activities. Times depending on capability of employed team member. Hours between 7am and 8pm. This position is not a gateway to nursing.

  • Cleaning of theatres
  •  ‘Flipping’ theatres and end of theatre duties
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Cleaning prep room floor
  • Laundry
  • Stocking the prep room
  • Inventory management (maintenance, trouble shooting, infection control etc)
  • Transportation of products around the hospital (e.g., blood products between ICU and theatre, delivery pathology/blood samples to the appropriate areas as required)
