Job description:

The Position

We are looking for energetic and passionate candidates to join our fun and dynamic team in NSW. You will have the autonomy and support to innovate, build relationships and propel this territory forward to reach its full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing sales and growing market share by representing and promoting the company and its animal health products to external customers through successful customer management within the assigned geographical territory.

This is a full-time and permanent position based in the field, and the successful candidate will be directly reporting to the NSW Regional Sales Manager. We are looking for candidates, in Sydney with easy access to the Northern Beaches, North Sydney and some of the Hills district. Additionally, this role has an amazing regional run to the Mudgee, Orange and Bathurst areas and would require travel 1 week in 4 to this area.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan, manage, and monitor territory sales and expenditure budgets.
  • Build relationships and manage customer accounts with integrity.
  • Promote the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health product range to customers using technical information, promotional material, and marketing campaigns.
  • Negotiate and gain customer commitment to product orders.
  • Promote BIAH as the leading animal health business through all activities.
  • Engage with current and potential customers at conferences and events.
  • Be a team player. Collaborative, respectful, innovative and passionate.

 

Requirements

  • Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Sales experience and commercial acumen will be highly regarded
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade customers
  • The ability to effectively communicate technical information
  • Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
  • Effective planning and time management
  • Technical background and veterinary nursing experience are highly desirable, but not essential.
