Ceva is recruiting for a professional Ruminant Territory Manager to join our growing ruminant reproduction team to drive sales of Regulin.

Regulin improves out of season reproductive performance in sheep and goats an exclusive research and development product of Ceva Animal Health

 

Job Description

  • Lead your territory in building the Regulin brand in a farm focused role
  • Drive sales of Regulin through our exclusive retail partnership with one of Australia’s leading iconic agribusiness distributor groups
  • Develop and hone your skills to become a leader in your field of sheep reproduction management.
  • Play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing international animal health business.

 

About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an individual with a proven track record within in the animal health/livestock /rural sector to join the Ceva Animal Health Ruminant team.

You will be responsible for the growth of Regulin within your territory and driving sales to producers on farm through our exclusive retail agreements.

Your key focus will be to engage high end sheep farming producers who are aiming to increase their reproduction results, and to sell the benefits of increased production with Regulin.

You will have high level communication skills with the ability to illustrate measured results and demonstrate the return on investment using Regulin

The territory encompasses South Australia/Western Victoria/Central Victoria

Extensive travel and overnight stays will be required to be successful in building your business

Location within territory boundary is flexible

Reporting to the divisional sales manager

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide a level of professional animal reproduction sales and technical advice to retail partners and producers to ensure clients are gaining maximum productivity
  • Communicate and support to your territory distribution partners and grow their Regulin business
  • Implement business plans with branch and merchandise managers to capture market growth opportunities
  • Communicate seasonal promotional plans and stay “on message” during campaign periods
  • Develop joining plans with producers, and ensure they understand, and follow the Regulin protocol in order to gain full benefit from the program.
  • Build positive working relationships with your divisional team members and contribute to developing sales and marketing strategy
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments and build relationships with key influencers
  • Grow your professional development and continue to self-learn technical skills

 

About You

Agricultural Science or equivalent would be beneficial.

However more importantly you have excellent industry experience and a solid reputation

You are a successful Animal Health/ Rural/ or industry territory manager with the right attitude and ability.
