Technical Veterinarian – Large Animals
- Newly created role, based in Hamilton office.
- Rare opportunity to join a European family-owned global Animal Health company with a rapidly growing NZ presence.
- Support our veterinary and farming customers by fielding enquiries, conducting studies, providing trainings, and writing technical material.
- Provide Technical input internally for the Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory teams.
After significant growth in recent years, Virbac NZ are expanding our Technical team. We are looking for a highly motivated large animal veterinarian who is willing to take the next step in their career and make a significant contribution to the NZ Animal Health industry. The role has a competitive salary and benefits including company vehicle, health insurance, laptop and mobile phone.
You will need:
- A BVSc or equivalent degree.
- At least three years of large animal experience in NZ.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel within NZ (up to 25% of time) and occasionally internationally.
- A network of veterinary and industry contacts throughout the country.
- Ability to fit into and contribute to a team culture.
- A love of learning and can-do attitude.
- A great sense of humour.
