Technical Veterinarian – Large Animals

• Newly created role, based in Hamilton office.
• Rare opportunity to join a European family-owned global Animal Health company with a rapidly growing NZ presence.
• Support our veterinary and farming customers by fielding enquiries, conducting studies, providing trainings, and writing technical material.
• Provide Technical input internally for the Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory teams.

After significant growth in recent years, Virbac NZ are expanding our Technical team.  We are looking for a highly motivated large animal veterinarian who is willing to take the next step in their career and make a significant contribution to the NZ Animal Health industry.  The role has a competitive salary and benefits including company vehicle, health insurance, laptop and mobile phone.

You will need:

• A BVSc or equivalent degree.
• At least three years of large animal experience in NZ.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel within NZ (up to 25% of time) and occasionally internationally.
• A network of veterinary and industry contacts throughout the country.
• Ability to fit into and contribute to a team culture.
• A love of learning and can-do attitude.
• A great sense of humour.
