As a leader in veterinary success solutions, AVet Health is seeking a Technical Service and New Products Veterinarian, ideally based in Melbourne or Sydney however remote work will also be considered.

The role of Technical Services and New Product Veterinarian is to assist in product launch and marketing support for AVet. This role has a strong focus on being involved in the launch process to assist in ensuring that the publicly available documents by AVet are technically sound and compliant. This role also has a focus on both regulatory and customer / sales support in relation to the technical aspects of the products use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, approve, adopt technical marketing materials in preparation of new product launch, product relaunch and for promotional purposes.
• Provide technical product training for the sales and customer support team.
• Provide customer support to veterinary and end-user customers in relation to technical aspects of product use, as well as addressing queries relating to products.
• As required represent the company at veterinary industry events, including conferences, trade fairs and other functions
• Assist in the management the veterinary pharmacovigilance system, including completion of adverse event and inefficacy investigations and ensuring compliance with local reporting guidelines.
• Assist in the technical aspects of the development of marketing, packaging, and education support material of existing and launched products
• New product development by providing veterinary technical review of current market competition, dosing and target products as needed, as well as provide insights into market gaps that exist in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, allowing development of novel solutions
• Regulatory support by assisting in the management of current and new R&D projects, creating proposed product profiles, evaluating the necessary attributes to fit market demand.

Skills & Experience: 

• Tertiary education in Veterinary Science (registerable with state veterinary surgeon's board)
• Ability to interpret scientific and medical information
• Effective technical writing, public speaking and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills with high level of detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Strong time management
• Strong problem solving skills
• Use of Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
