The Technical Services team operates and maintains undergraduate teaching labs and prepares, develops, designs and constructs experiments. Whether teaching, research or external engagement activities the group manages the technical requirements that service the needs of the University community.

 

The Role

As Technical Officer – Production Animals & Reproduction, the foundation of your role will be to perform and supervise reproduction procedures for the support of teaching purposes, in both small and large animals.

 

What you’ll bring to this role

  • Qualifications and/or experience relevant to the role,
  • Extensive experience in dealing with animals and use of relevant equipment,
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety specifically relating to Animal Science
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
