About This Role

As a successful leader you already have a good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented manager are.  Knowledge of the veterinary industry or even a veterinary background are advantageous, however the focus will really be on your ability to lead teams.  Here are some of the key skills that we are seeking that are particularly relevant to this opportunity:

• Operational efficiency – know how to effectively run a department, with a focus on continual improvement of systems and processes
• People Management – the ability to influence and motivate a team to be the very best they can be
• Excellent Communicator– experience communicating clearly with a variety of people throughout the business
• Relationship Builder – proven evidence of having the ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships

 

About You

Your qualifications are certainly essential to your success in this role and it is expected that you will impress us with your skills in some of the following ways;

• Tertiary education or qualification or further study in management/leadership or equivalent experience
• Ideally but not mandatory some veterinary or allied human medical experience

We are located in Miranda in The Shire.  Only 26kms south of the Sydney CBD and near some of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches.  We are surrounded by cafes, have a major supermarket across the road and lots of other amenities close-by.
