Description
We invite applications for a part-time (2.5 days per week) Teaching Fellow in the Ethics and Animal Welfare to join RVC Animal Welfare Science and Ethics team based at our Hawkshead Campus, a 20-minute train ride from the centre of cosmopolitan London.
You will work in a friendly, enthusiastic, and inclusive group, playing an essential role in delivery of outstanding, engaging and innovative teaching across RVC teaching programs. The role will involve organisation and delivery of learning and associated assessment, both remotely and face to face at both Hawkshead and Camden campuses, supervision of student projects and tutoring duties.
We seek passionate candidates with a period of training in ethics related to animal welfare and / or veterinary practice, detailed knowledge of relevant ethical frameworks and experience of teaching in higher or further education. You will hold excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work effectively both collaboratively with diverse teams and independently to meet deadlines. We are particularly interested in candidates who additionally hold good knowledge of animal welfare science and / or animal behaviour and may be able to flexibly teach, supervise and assess students in these areas.
