As a teacher within our Food and Fibre portfolio, you have the opportunity to share your passion for animals with students thereby enabling them to pursue their chosen career.  Kangan Institute has established a vast network of industry partners and a strong reputation with employers across Victoria. You will have the opportunity to share your industry experience and knowledge to develop and deliver courses which ensure students gain the most current and up-to-date skills.

Currently we are seeking an experienced Teacher - Animal Studies to join our Food & Fibre (F&F) team at Charleston Road Bendigo. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency based assessment in specified program(s) in a range of settings including classroom, workplace and online environments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
  • Current Industry Experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411) (TAELLN401A). A diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
  • Successful applicants will also have to provide a current Working with Children Check and Federal Police Check
