About the Role
The School of Animal Care and Land Management is a growing and aspirational department based at Temple Newsam in Leeds and is part of the Printworks Campus. The department has grown year on year and delivers qualifications from entry level to level 5 in animal care and horticulture. We are currently pursuing growth in the delivery of apprenticeships and already have employers we are working with. This role will include delivery of practical and theory sessions at Temple Newsam for learners on full time study programmes as well as the training and assessment of apprentices which will be predominantly done so remotely.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and deliver practical and theory sessions
- Monitor student attendance, achievement and progress.
- Tutor a group of students
- Part of this role includes the delivery of training and assessment of apprentices, predominantly this will be delivered online.
About You
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about learners, ensuring that they are provided with an outstanding learning journey whilst at Leeds City College.
- We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the necessary enthusiasm and skill to communicate at all levels of the college.
- This role includes the training and assessment of apprentices which will be predominantly done remotely.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable in working remotely and have experience working with student record keeping on systems such a One File.
