Are you an experienced Vet Nurse looking to make a fresh start across the pond?  SASH is excited to announce our new, state of the art emergency and referral hospital in Balgowlah, Northern Beaches (Sydney Australia). Our hospital is scheduled to open towards the end of 2024. Providing veterinary excellence in the core services of medicine, surgery, emergency with critical care, dermatology and oncology.

We are currently accepting applications for the following roles:  

• Emergency & Critical Care Nurse (full-time, part-time, casuals, overnights)
• Internal Medicine Nurse (full-time or part-time)
• Theatre Nurse (full-time or part time)

 

About You:  
We are looking for passionate nurses who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to work. We are looking for a nurse with the following skills:

• A keen interest in your respective department and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
• Keep a keen eye on day-to-day workflow and assist the Team Lead in ensuring the team is operating efficiently and effectively
• Perform day-to-day clinical nurse duties
• An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working in an extremely busy environment

 

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
• A minimum of 2-year, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
• Previous experience in an Emergency Hospital or Specialist clinic would be highly regarded but is not essential
