Description
WellFish Diagnostics is a spin out company from the University of the West of Scotland offering clinical chemistry-based fish health assessment for the aquaculture industry. As a clinical biochemist, you will help in clinical chemistry data interpretation to diagnose various health challenges in aquaculture reared fish. Working with our fish veterinarian, you will advise the WellFish clinicians and fish health managers on the appropriate use of tests, the interpretation of results of chemical and biochemical analyses on fish serum, and the follow up investigations that may be required. •To undertake technical validation of highly complex results from laboratory investigations to ensure accuracy and precision as specified by laboratory protocols
•To contribute towards a culture of quality in the WellFish Diagnostics and to comply and promote the quality initiatives consistent with maintaining laboratory accreditation
