About Abbey Animal Health
Our organisation is an Australian owned Animal Health Company. We specialise in researching, developing, marketing and selling animal health products. Our clients range from Vets, Farmers, Rural Stores and pet owners across Australia. We have been in business for 8 years and are growing rapidly. We now have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and hard-working Business Manager who is looking for an exciting hands-on role.
Position Overview
The role is to drive sales through multiple channels including Rural Merchandise Stores, Vet Clinics, Equine Stores, OTC Wholesalers, Vet Wholesalers, Feedlots and end users. The Business Manager will manage new and existing clients through strategic planning and delivery of sales objectives.
We are seeking to hear from self-motivated applicants with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ideally you will be able to autonomously plan and manage your time whilst continuously seeking to increase sales.
Location
Our Head Office is located in Glendenning, Sydney. The applicant however, can reside anywhere in Southern NSW. You will be required to regularly travel though out multiple Southern NSW Regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and achieve sales growth through relationships with new and existing clients.
- Recognise new opportunities for sales growth.
- Deliver sales objectives and KPI’s.
- Update Salesforce Daily with accurate reports.
- Generate quarterly territory action plans.
- Remain abreast of factors influencing the industry.
- Ensure customers are familiar with the company’s products.
- Strategic planning and contribution to product and customer buying trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with product, inventory and logistics managers as well as regulatory personnel and marketing.
- Coordination for regular appointments and meetings with prospective clients.
- Perform extensive market research
- Travel to a range of regions within Southern NSW.
Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity we are seeking to hear from applicants who possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Animal Science, Vet Nurse or within the Veterinary discipline.
- Key accounts management experience.
- Previous Sales experience in areas related to agriculture.
- Minimum 8 years-experience in a similar role.
- Well-developed skills in negotiating, influencing and establishing collaborative relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team.
