We are a privately owned small animal clinic in the semi-rural university town of Lincoln just 25 minutes from the Christchurch CBD. Since starting up in 2011 we have seen steady growth and Lincoln has grown.

In March, our fabulous vet Sally will be leaving to return to the UK after many years in New Zealand – a new adventure that will leave us with a hole to fill in our team.  Are you looking for somewhere to take a break from the hustle & bustle, yet be close enough to the city and airport to be able to explore NZ from your doorstep? Somewhere close enough to the excitement of the Southern Alps to allow weekends skiing in the winter or tramping & biking in the summer? Or, are you at a different stage and looking for a place to settle and raise a family (or prepare for retirement)? Lincoln is a great safe place for that too with excellent schools for all levels.

Lincoln Village Vets enjoys a strong presence in the community and we have many regular clients whom we have cared for over the years. We are looking for that someone who will enjoy being part of our wider veterinary community and who will bring their own passion & friendly personality to our team.

We are looking for excellent communication skills and someone who is happy to invest in building relationships with both clients and other staff members. Experience in small animal first opinion practice is definitely an advantage.

As we are members of the After Hours Veterinary Clinic, there will be no after hours duties. We are flexible on the hours we are looking for depending on experience and availability. We will consider both full time and part time applicants. This position may also suit a couple looking for a more flexible work experience. We are happy to chat about options J

Work hours will be rostered between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. We are closed weekends and public holidays.
