The Animal Referral Hospital Homebush has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and professional individual to work and learn in a busy but supportive specialist referral and emergency hospital on an internship for 12-18 months. The Internship Experience

From day one, you'll be fully immersed in the exciting world of small animal veterinary medicine with close involvement with our other departments (surgery, oncology, radiology and emergency). Your Responsibilities

As an intern, you'll be at the forefront of veterinary care, participating in a variety of tasks that will challenge and inspire you. Here's just a taste of what you can expect:

• You will assist in medical case management and be closely involved in the assessment, diagnosis and care of a diverse variety of challenging medical cases
• Observing and assisting in surgical procedures, both routine and complex
• Participating in rounds, case discussions, and workshops to enhance your knowledge and practical skills.
• Providing compassionate care to our furry patients and their families, offering support and empathy during challenging times

• Eligible for Veterinary registration in NSW
• Ideally 1 year of clinical experience or a strong knowledge base on which to build. Recent veterinary graduates are welcome to apply!

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Eagerness to learn and a growth mindset
