Job description: The purpose of the role is to manage the staff, site and captive animal population of the department’s wildlife management facility for the Orange bellied Parrot.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

 

Duties

The purpose of the role is to manage the staff, site and captive animal population of the department’s wildlife management facility for the Orange bellied Parrot.

 

Desirable Qualifications and Requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
  • Certificate III in Zoo Keeping/Captive Animals, or an equivalent qualification.
  • ABBBS banding licence or experience in bird banding.
  • A current firearms licence or the ability to acquire one.
