  • Maintain Dreamworld’s captive animal collection, enclosures & exhibits
  • Part Time (PT20) position 

Dreamworld Corroboree is one of the largest native wildlife parks in South East Queensland with 100’s of native animals including the second largest koala population.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the highest standard of animal care for our captive animal collection and maintain the enclosures and exhibits.  Tasks include feeding, cleaning, record keeping and animal enrichment.

This is a physically demanding role that involves animal husbandry tasks and manual handling, therefore the ability to perform physically demanding work is essential. Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential as interaction with a diverse range of people from differing cultures is involved, and report writing and record keeping is a requirement of the role.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge and extensive experience working with Australian native fauna with completion of the Captive Animal Management Course is desirable.

Flexibility with working hours across a 7 day roster is essential, and weekend work will be involved. A current manual drivers license is also required. Permanent Part Time (PT20) positions offer between 20-38 rostered hours per week.
