We are a large, national stockfeed manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality service. We're seeking a highly motivated Ruminant Nutrition Business Manager to join our team and play a vital role in the food chain for livestock farmers across Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales.
In this key role, you will be responsible for:
- Proactive Customer Management: Retain and grow our existing customer base, driving sales in the ruminant segment.
- Technical Expertise: Advise customers on feed and nutrition programs tailored to their specific needs, providing in-depth technical and nutritional advice.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders across the business.
- Sales & Account Management: Develop and implement sales plans, manage customer accounts, and achieve set sales targets.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and changing industry conditions.
- Communication & Training: Deliver exceptional customer service, educate team members on product lines, and create learning resources.
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- A degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ruminant nutrition and sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage accounts effectively.
- A passion for the agricultural sector and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
