We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to become a key member of our veterinary science team, where you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the education and training of future veterinarians, ensuring they are equipped with essential knowledge and clinical skills to excel in their careers.
This position is offered on a full-time continuing basis and is based at our state-of-the-art facilities at the JCU Townsville Bebegu Yumba Campus in Douglas

About Veterinary Sciences at JCU

What you can Accomplish in the Role
You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of our veterinary students' educational journey as you support the teaching and research activities in Veterinary Anatomy.Conducting pioneering research in veterinary anatomy, you will contribute to the discipline’s research profile through publications and conference presentations. You will also collaborate with academic colleagues and industry partners to advance veterinary anatomical science and practice and provide academic leadership within the department that contributes to the strategic direction of veterinary science at JCU.
What you will bring to the role
With an enthusiasm and passion to make a difference in the lives of aspiring veterinary professionals, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science or equivalent with a higher degree in a relevant discipline and be eligible for registration in Queensland. You can demonstrate excellence in teaching at the tertiary level, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment together with a robust record of research and scholarly publications in veterinary anatomy.
