About you
- You have an eye for detail and take the initiative in monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of stables, pens, cars, and horse trailers.
- You have the skills to assist in monitoring recipient mares' health condition and can administer vaccines and de-worming procedures.
- You have experience handling and training horses, including the ability to lead, tie up, and prepare them for the farrier.
- You understand the importance of pasture management and can assist with duties related to maintaining field conditions.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite and have exceptional organisational skills that enable efficient administrative tasks.
- You're an effective communicator with a warm and engaging style, enabling you to build strong, positive relationships within the team.
- You love to work autonomously, requiring minimal supervision.
- You are flexible, resilient, and collaborative, consistently striving for best practices.
- You take pride in achieving results and being rewarded for your efforts.
- You are passionate about knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- You can effectively support the Veterinary team, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- You can supervise and train junior staff, share your knowledge and expertise, and aid in their development.
- You are proactive and take ownership of your role, always looking for opportunities to better your position with fresh ideas and innovative approaches.
- You are willing to assist with Willinga Park events and other ad-hoc requirements as directed by management.
- You hold a current driver's license and can work weekends.
