Senior Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian

Are you a passionate and experienced Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian who prides themselves on practicing elevated level, evidence-based medicine looking for a new challenge? You’re invited to join our highly experienced and thriving team at Ingleburn Veterinary Emergency Centre!

Ingleburn Veterinary Emergency Centre is located in the outer south-western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales within an hour’s drive of the beautiful beaches of Wollongong and only a 45-minute drive into the heart of the Sydney CBD. Within the MacArthur region you can explore the lush Australian Botanic Gardens at Mount Annan which hosts amazing food festivals and location weddings! Attend the taste-bud tantalising Macarthur Night Markets or go horse riding at the Sugarloaf Horse Centre. If you are looking to relax, take a breather and sip refreshments, you can do so overlooking the serene Japanese Gardens at the Arts Centre Café. The vicinity offers plenty of places to explore and travel when you’re not working.

Ingleburn Veterinary Hospital & After-Hours Emergency Centre services 30 + referring general practice clinics in the south-western Sydney region. The purpose-built facility was established in 1983 and the team are committed to providing the highest-quality health care for families and their pets.

We are looking to add a passionate Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian who can effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and positive in the face of pressure!

What we’re looking for:

  • BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
  • An experienced and confident Veterinarian with at least 3 years’ practical experience
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient care
  • Ability to oversee caseloads and work autonomously
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach a younger team of emergency veterinarians
