Swan Valley Vet Centre provides high quality veterinary care in a unique rural setting for a wide range of animal species.  The CT unit is a recent addition to the business and has been operating an imaging service for in-house and referred animal patients for just over a year.  The demands for the service is expanding rapidly, but unfortunately our current tech has no additional time available.  We operate a newly installed GE ACT machine.

We are seeking a part-time CT technologist to run two or three 3-4 hour sessions each week.  The rostering can be adjusted to suit the availability of the successful candidate(s), and the role could be shared between more than one employee.  Our current technologist will continue to support the service and provide training for the successful candidate.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
• Be registered with AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
• Hold a Radiation Safety Licence from the Radiological Council of WA
• Love pets
• Be adaptable and dynamic in their approach
