About the Opportunity 

MQVet is the vet focused division of Mediquip, and we have an opportunity for a full-time Sales Specialist to drive the growth of the MQ Vet portfolio of products and service offering to an established portfolio of existing clients in the Western Australia veterinary market, and to develop relationships with new clients.

The role is based in Mediquip's office in Perth and will be reporting to the National Sales Manager - Veterinary and supported by the marketing team. The territory consists of Western Australia with a focus on Perth, some travel is required to visit regional clients and attend industry conferences as needed.

The key component of this role is relationship building. You will make your presence known as the on-the-ground ‘go-to person’ for whatever your clients’ needs are, whether it be helping clients with new clinic fitouts with multiple pieces of equipment, coordination of surgical lights or gas equipment installation, helping with repair and service enquiries, or answering questions about MQVet’ s range of veterinary products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities;

  • Achieve territory sales and growth targets in line with the go to market strategy for the Veterinary market
  • Develop and maintain a Territory Business Plan specifying objectives, priorities, targets, call plans, activities and tactics.
  • Implement consultative sales and promotion of Mediquip Veterinary product range within the assigned territory.
    • Proactively identify and manage leads and new business opportunities
    • Attend to all customer sales enquiries and provide quotations as required
    • Develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with key organisations, accounts and individuals in order to facilitate sales opportunities
    • Maintain appropriate levels of targeted customer activity
  • Execute sales opportunity and lead management in a disciplined “sales funnel process” to deliver revenue and margin targets
  • Ensure 100% compliance with CRM usage to capture current and accurate information about all opportunities & activity
  • Work with the Veterinary BU lead and product team to identify & deliver opportunities across the veterinary portfolio
  • Develop and manage sales and key account relationships according to agreed processes.

 

To be successful you will require.

  • Veterinary industry sales experience or a high level of veterinary equipment knowledge
  • Knowledge of the veterinary market
  • Project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple company departments to deliver complex solutions
  • Understanding of the sales process (CRM) and territory management skills
  • Desire, enthusiasm and energy to succeed in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to communicate to busy stakeholders and develop strong relationships with key clinic and hospital personnel
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional levels of customer service and results
  • Clear understanding of IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and teams

 

This role requires a driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
