Ruminant Sales Representative – Northern NSW

We manufacture and supply high-quality animal feed products and nutritional services for all commercially farmed animals and pets throughout Australia.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Ruminant Sales Representative’s to join our team, based in Northern NSW.

You will play an integral role within the Ruminant Sales Team and deal directly with farmers, rural resellers, feed companies, veterinarians, and consultants.

Key responsibilities include

• Business growth, strong focus on sales and development of Alltech Lienerts portfolio of nutritional products.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with customers through regular and scheduled visits and interactions.
• Providing practical solutions to help increase customers growth, profitability, and economic sustainability.
• Strong on farm focus, providing useful farm data and services (Body Conditioning, Locomotion scoring, Cow Signals, Manure Sieving, Raw Material sampling etc.)
• Service network of rural resellers in the territory. Increasing collaboration with stores, updating them on quarterly pricing and product information and generally being a link between stores and farms.
• Regular assessment of your region in terms of required marketing campaigns, events and/or technical services required to grow the business. This is generally done by submitting reports and quarterly plans.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience, working in a similar capacity. Well developed relationship management skills, exceptional communication skills and be a strong self motivator.

You will also demonstrate the following essential attributes:

• Experience in the Ruminant Nutrition sector
• Be commercially astute with proven ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Ability to travel regularly within your territory and occasionally interstate.
• A tertiary Degree or Diploma in an agricultural discipline will be a benefit but not a necessity
