Ruminant Sales Representative – Northern NSW

Alltech Lienert Australia is a successful animal nutrition, premix and supplement manufacturing company, with over 40 years’ experience and backed by the support of global parent company Alltech. We manufacture and supply high-quality animal feed products and nutritional services for all commercially farmed animals throughout Australia.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Ruminant Sales Representative’s to join our team, based in Northern NSW You will play an integral role within the Ruminant Sales Team, and will directly liaise with on farm clientele, rural resellers, consultants, veterinarians and other stock feed manufacturers and suppliers to the animal production industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Achieve business growth and development in the ruminant sector, offering our impressive portfolio of nutritional products, world class feed additives and technical services.
• Provide practical nutrition and management solutions to help improve economic and resource sustainability of our customers.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with regular scheduled visits and services.
• Service a network of rural resellers and service providers and by extension producers buying from them.
• Regular assessment of your own region, including marketing, technical nutrition advice and sponsored events.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a similar capacity, well developed relationship management skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills be curious and a strong self-motivator.

You will also demonstrate the following essential attributes:

• Experience in the Ruminant Nutrition and/or production sector, with a passion to help producers achieve identified outcomes.
• Be commercially astute with proven ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Ability to travel regularly within your territory and occasionally interstate or abroad.
• A Degree in agricultural discipline a benefit but not a necessity, some science background preferred.
