EpiVets Ltd is a vibrant and growing Research and Epidemiology business based in Te Awamutu. We undertake many different welfare and product development studies with production animals. We have a team of 11 with 7 of us based in our Te Awamutu office.

Due to a high work volume, we are in need of one or more veterinary technicians to utilise, especially for October, but also as needs arise throughout the rest of the year if possible.

While we do not need you to have veterinary technician formal training, we do need you to:

a. Be able to work full days

b. Have the flexibility to start early in the morning if required

c. Write very neatly

d. Have a car (and license) to get to and from our office

e. Have experience with working with production animals

f. Understand strict confidentiality for all work you are involved with

You will be working with other experienced research technicians on the studies and may be undertaking activities such as moving animals, holding animals, recording data or potentially ear tagging.

While our greatest need is over October, we are keen to build up a group of technicians to call on, so even if this is not possible for you right now, we are still interested in hearing from you.
