Job Description

Eurofins Animal Health Australia (EAH) are currently seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Research Support Officer. This is a full time position based at our head office (Lane Cove West) and is responsible for maintaining numerous aspects of our quality management system and providing administrative support to our research staff. This role is critical to ensuring efficient management of study programs and maintaining a high-quality service for our clients.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role will focus on:

  • Maintenance of key aspects of the GCP/GLP Quality System (e.g. controlled documents, personnel training records and equipment certifications).
  • Creation of high-quality study protocols, data capture forms and final reports (e.g. through drafting, formatting and proofreading).
  • Processing and filing of in-progress study documentation and data (e.g. checking, scanning and filing paper and electronic study records).


As a key role within the research team, the following selection criteria are essential for success:

  • Highly-developed document management and office software skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to independently prioritise work and maintain associated schedules.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, communication and drive to contribute to the success of a small team.
  • A Bachelor-level degree in a Science-related discipline.
  • Experience with quality systems, controlled documents and/or strict data management requirements will be an advantage.
