Description
•Develop and implement business plans in consultation with Queensland Health, Manager Science Infrastructure and Operations and other tenant Agencies to develop common Precinct procedures and ensure appropriate and timely provision of resources and services and facilities to ensure continuous uninterrupted operation to support research, development and extension activities at HFSP.
• Develop and implement a risk management program to comply with statutory and corporate compliance obligations including WH&S, environmental, waste management, Fire Safety, emergency management, etc.
• Manage the operations, service, repair and maintenance of asset resources including mechanical plant, machinery and equipment and built infrastructure.
• Develop and/or utilise programs, packages and systems such as quality assurance, Chemwatch, financial reporting and other electronic packages.
• Develop and manage financial and other resources in compliance with public finance standards; including development of annual budgets, operational plans and regular progress reports.
• Manage and develop the facility, develop and implement protocols and procedures to ensure the science integrity and biosecurity of research, development and extension projects and activities are respected and deliver positive outcomes for industry.
• Continually develop and take responsibility for professional competencies of self and staff (where appropriate) through performance development agreements and dedicated career development training programs.
• Establish and enhance networks and consultative relationships to foster good working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the team to develop harmonious relationships in an environment where work excellence, integrity, diligence, cooperation, innovation, effectiveness and efficiency and inclusiveness are standard behavior to provide exceptional service to internal and external clients.
