About the role

 

This position will develop and maintain strong relationships with our Veterinary, Pet retail and Equine clients, servicing independent, state and national key accounts.  You will also seek to grow market share by acquiring new business opportunities.

 

Following the territory management plan, you will represent the Patch and Purr brand through regular visits, meetings and seminars in order to develop recommendations to continually enhance our service-offering.  This will involve a hybrid of virtual customer engagement and in person calls.  You will need to be innovative, motivated and hardworking in this environment.  Your territory will focus on the Sydney and surrounding locations.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills and customer focus
  • High level of self-motivation and passion to help families in their time of need
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and a willingness to adopt change
  • Digitally savvy - Google Suite or similar and applying digital tools to analyse sales data

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field is strongly recommended
  • Previous field sales experience in a veterinary or pharmaceutical company is preferred
  • Proficient digital literacy in Google Suite and experience with CRM databases and Intermediate MS Suite experience
  • Experience managing a geographically large sales region
  • Valid driver’s license required
