Two ongoing vacancies are available.

There are two positions one is located in Darwin and one is located in Katherine.

The Regional Veterinary Officer (RVO) is responsible for coordinating the delivery of veterinary biosecurity services and projects for the region, and providing professional leadership, mentoring and support for other staff. As the position involves service delivery for the pastoral industry, which generally operates outside of normal business hours, the RVO is expected to remain accessible, responsive and flexible to respond to urgent animal health events and service requests. In addition, the position is required to manage the NT’s contribution to a number of animal health projects with responsibility for achieving outcomes against relevant business plans.
