We have an opportunity for a Regional Manager in this challenging role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining effective business relationships with the veterinary clinics in your region, assisting them to meet financial targets, and maintaining our market leadership position through innovation and continuous improvement.
Your role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Management of 10 to 15 General Practice Veterinary Hospitals.
- Strategic planning and leadership support for each clinic within the region.
- Maintain a strong customer focus, adding value to clinics through a deep understanding of the market.
- Conduct regular in-depth business reviews with clinics to achieve high levels of success.
- Manage and promote innovation to facilitate business improvement.
- Develop solid understanding of each individual clinic.
- Maintain each clinic’s high quality operational standards, develop strategies for improving delivery of products and services.
- Effectively manage financial performance against budget targets.
- Manage operational efficiencies to incrementally improve business performance.
- Provide support and coaching to Vendors, Hospital Directors and clinic Team Members.
Key competencies to succeed in this role include:
Essential:
- Experience within the Veterinary, Health, or Retail industries.
- University qualifications
- Budget development and oversight experience.
- You must demonstrate your innovative, forward-thinking and client-focused capability.
- Highly organised, with strong commercial, client relationship and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with various teams within the business to assist multiple sites’ every day needs and major projects or initiatives.
- Operational management and/or franchisee leadership experience.
- Proven track record in territory management, with multi-site experience.
- Effective time management skills to best manage the priorities of multiple sites.
- Possess a self-directed attitude and an ability to work independently.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
- IT skills including but not limited to databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
This role will involve some travel and has the flexibility for the successful candidate to be based anywhere from Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong or in Canberra.
