- Ideally located in Dubbo, however any LLS office across Central West LLS region will be considered

Central West Local Land Services (CWLLS) have a fantastic opportunity available as a Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator (RALF) to work within the Ag Advisory services team. This is a perfect role for someone who is enthusiastic about stakeholder engagement and facilitating partnerships with farmers, industry and community groups to deliver sustainable agriculture outcomes.
As the CWLLS RALF you will:
- Be an active member of the National RALF Network, including involvement in relevant ‘Communities of Practice” to better understand complex issues, improve networks and help develop solutions for national priorities.
- Use your experience and technical expertise to engage and inform farmers, community groups and agricultural industries about emerging ideas and innovative practices to help improve the sustainability, productivity and profitability of agriculture.
- Facilitate partnerships that will best deliver agriculture outcomes including supporting and contributing to community-based committees, as well as industry and stakeholder groups, including the Central West NRM Working Group.
- Develop and deliver capacity building training events and resources related to Sustainable Agriculture
- Contribute to strategic planning of future NRM and Sustainable Agriculture service delivery across the Central West region
- Liaise with the Australian Government to ensure the effective delivery of services funded through the National Landcare Program
To be successful in this role a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental management or farming systems is essential, as well as strong communication skills and an open and inquisitive approach to sustainable agriculture.
You’ll also need to have proven experience in group facilitation, working effectively with differing communication styles and engaging with varying stakeholder groups.
A current NSW driver licence combined with the willingness and ability to travel across NSW (including overnight stays) is also required.
