About the role

We are expanding our team and looking for someone to work alongside and learn from our highly skilled, passionate, and fun surgery nurses. Our surgical nursing team is progressive and we have leadership opportunities within the team for nurses wanting to strive for future growth and development.

 

Under the direction of the Referral Nurse Team Leader and with the support from the Senior Surgery Nurses, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our Specialist Surgeons, Surgical Registrars, Residents and Interns to provide outstanding patient care. This includes monitoring patient anaesthesia, assisting with imaging, preparing patients for theatre and caring for hospital patients.

 

About you

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated nurses with strong clinical skills. To be considered for this position you will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, experience working in referral surgery nursing, and a passion for fast paced environments. The position would be well suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:

• A keen desire to advance their knowledge and clinical skills
• A flexible, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
• Ability to operate in a face paced and dynamic environment
