Onewa Road Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned companion animal veterinary practice in Birkenhead, Auckland.

We provide a high level of veterinary care and support for our dedicated pet owners and their precious furry families.

We are a close and growing team of professionals, who love what we do and strive to make our clients experience with us a great one.

Our receptionists are a really important part of the team, being the first point of contact for our clients.

We are looking for a person with exceptional people skills, who is a great communicator, and a wizz at multi-tasking.

The successful candidate will have a bright and positive personality, be well presented, unflappable, kind  and empathetic!

The role includes greeting clients, sales, phone and e mail communications, appointment management, advice, stock control and much more. An ability to seamlessly juggle multiple lines of communication and enquiry is critical.

Our receptionists develop a great relationship with our clients and their pets. You will be an integral part of the communication within our team,  working closely with our awesome receptionist, vets and nurses.

Experience in reception or public facing roles is essential. Experience within the veterinary industry would be a great advantage.
