The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) is seeking a Ranger to join the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) team in Arthur River.

About the role
The purpose of the role is assist the Ranger-in-Charge with the management of field centre operations and resources for the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources.
Hours per fortnight
76.0 hours per fortnight (minimum 60.8 hours, by negotiation).
Location
Arthur River.
Period of Appointment
12 months.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ experience in reserve management, or equivalent.
- A workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or equivalent.
- To access Band 4 Range 2 salary levels the following qualification is essential:
- A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or other qualifications deemed equivalent.
Desirable Requirements
- A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management, or other qualifications deemed equivalent.
- A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
