Key parts of the role

• Timely analysis and approval of raw materials, bulk and finished products to meet customer specifications and timeframes and required GMP, TGA, APVMA and ACO standards.
• Regular and systematic analysis and review of critical systems including but not limited to water and air quality to ensure the site meets required GMP, TGA, APVMA and ACO standards.
• Investigating out of specification results and liaising with external laboratories.
• Design and development of testing methods for non-sterile APVMA products.
• Working closely to support the sterile manufacturing team to assist with training and troubleshooting when required.

About you

• 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical microbiology
• Excellent verbal and written communication to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to complete reports in root cause analysis and technical report writing
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to production deadlines
• Familiar with contamination control strategies
• Experience in sterile manufacturing
• Experience in developing and maintaining testing methods
• Experience in developing an environmental monitoring program
