Key parts of the role
- Timely analysis and approval of raw materials, bulk and finished products to meet customer specifications and timeframes and required GMP, TGA, APVMA and ACO standards.
- Regular and systematic analysis and review of critical systems including but not limited to water and air quality to ensure the site meets required GMP, TGA, APVMA and ACO standards.
- Investigating out of specification results and liaising with external laboratories.
- Design and development of testing methods for non-sterile APVMA products.
- Working closely to support the sterile manufacturing team to assist with training and troubleshooting when required.
About you
- 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical microbiology
- Excellent verbal and written communication to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to complete reports in root cause analysis and technical report writing
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to production deadlines
- Familiar with contamination control strategies
- Experience in sterile manufacturing
- Experience in developing and maintaining testing methods
- Experience in developing an environmental monitoring program
