About the company:
This well established multinational company is based in the western suburbs of Sydney. Our client is a leading manufacturer of F&B products and believes in investing in the personal and professional growth of their employees through training and recognition within a supportive environment.
About the role:
Currently Evolve Scientific Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Quality and Compliance / Environment Systems Coordinator to work within a leading manufacturer. This is a 12 month secondment to start for the successful applicant.
Reporting to the Manager and coordinating the Quality Management System activities within the ISO 22000/GMP/HACCP accreditation. The role will also have responsibility for compliance monitoring for Environmental systems processes.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Quality Compliance candidate who has the personality and credibility to influence whilst ensuring the company meets its ongoing legal and compliance obligations.
You will also be responsible for:
- Supporting Site Leader and Management team with Quality Leadership and guidance to ensure quality
- Maintaining and continuously improving existing Quality Systems and procedures
- Leading the Internal / SAI global audit process, challenging processes and providing guidance on findings
- Investigate CAPAS/NCRs
- Co-ordinate allergen program
- No direct reports - this is an independent role
Skills & experience:
- Degree in food science or similar
- Substantial experience in a similar position and detailed knowledge of requirements for ISO 22000/14001, HACCP, GMP, FSSC
- Previous internal and external audit experience
- Understanding of environmental systems - EPA/ sustainability etc desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
