About us

We are a family run small animal independent Veterinary Practice. We have been established for over 12 years, and under the current ownership for the last 7 years. We see a wide variety of cases, we have the usual toys: digital xray, ultrasound, in house laboratory, Rx Works software system, separate cat and dog wards and much more. There is no after hours or Sunday work, and we are open 8-6pm weekdays and 8-midday on Saturdays. we are also closed on public holidays.

Qualifications & experience

• Cert 4 qualification in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Ideally a few years experience in the industry.
• Will consider a traineeship for the right employee.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assisting in surgery, radiographs, ultrasounds, dentals.
• Assist our other qualified nurses with nurse consults
• Placing iv catheters, taking and running blood samples.
• There will be shared reception duties as well as assisting in consults.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
