We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cert IV Veterinary Nurse to join our boutique, family-owned practice on a casual basis, with the potential for permanent part-time work. The role involves working 2 days per week, with the possibility of providing coverage for other nurses during holidays or personal leave.

Your Role:

• Deliver pre- and post-operative patient care at the highest standard
• Prepare for surgeries, including blood collections, IV placements, and medication administration
• Monitor anaesthetics with meticulous precision, prepare equipment, and maintain surgical instruments
• Perform general hospital and laboratory nursing duties, including blood and urine tests
• Handle general cleaning and administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (Please note: We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified nurse; we already have two fantastic nurses studying their Cert IV.)
• Strong communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities
• A great sense of humour and a commitment to high standards of work
• Experience with EzyVet software is a plus
