QA Associate (0.4 FTE part time – 6 months contract)

THE POSITION

Product Quality is that part of Commercial Quality whose primary focus is on transactional tasks i.e. release-for-distribution, complaints, market returns etc.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Performs transactional tasks: i.e. batch disposition, technical product complaints, and assessment of product returned from the market.
  • Raise and review deviations, associated investigations and CAPAs as per approved procedures and as may be necessary.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of local quality related processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable local regulations and Corporate requirements.
  • Monitor quality related processes in accordance with defined KPIs and prepare associated reports for the Quality Management Review process, including trending of data and determination of actions to reverse adverse trends or improve system compliance.
  • Participate in self-inspections as co-auditor as may be required.
  • Maintain appropriate quality records as required by applicable procedures.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrates a high attention to detail, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a changing environment, works efficiently and autonomously.
  • Communicates openly and clearly, & willingly shares information with others.
  • Displays high-level negotiation skills.
  • Be results orientated and willing to challenge the status quo.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Human Pharmaceutical or Veterinary Medicine industries
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical industry (human and/or veterinary medicines)
  • Experience with QA IT platforms such as GoTrack (TrackWise)
  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems e.g. SAP

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant scientific degree e.g. Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences etc.
  • Auditor qualification would be beneficial
